Oliver McAninch (aka Macca or "The Tripod")
Oliver McA"nine"inch grew up in the darkest depths of South West England and was one of the founding members of the Bath Easton Massive. After a short stint in rehab Ollie escaped the drug fueled gang wars and gained a place at the University of Exeter. It was here the foundations of a successful capitalist career in economics were put in place, as well as satisfying his overzealous appetite for sport and women.
After graduating, MacAttack moved to London where he now commands a lofty position at a global private property company. He thrives on the fast-paced London lifestyle but always finds time to enjoy sport; playing regular amateur football (although, not as good as his father, "the George Best of the West Country"), running half marathons (although, not as fast as his father) and finishing the Berlin marathon in a breathtaking 3hr25mins (although, his father could probably run quicker). Living in the shadow of his father's aceivements has spurred Ollie on to greater challenges including successfully completing the 3-Peaks Challenge, scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro and overcoming The Grizzly "The toughest cross country race in the world".
Macaroon always rises to a challenge and LEJOG will be no exception. Expect nothing less than 100% from the McAninch Machine. He has the looks of Daniel Craig, the mind of Mervin King, the fitness of an Olympian and the wit of Justin Lee-Colins. With these attributes there is something for everyone, which will make him a vital and much valued member of the team.
